Getting Back on Track with Weightloss After a Setback

If you are someone who, for whatever reason, has gotten off track with your weight loss- I want you to know I understand and you are not alone in what you are experiencing. There is no reason to feel shame. I also encourage you to make time to reflect on what you want for yourself. Where do you see yourself in a year? Three years? Five years? Dig deep and imagine the best case scenario, then plan for that! You can do it! A set back can not stop you. It didn't stop me.

Preparing for a Half Marathon

The half marathon I have chosen to participate in is the Yosemite Half Marathon, hosted by Vacation Races. I am so excited to jog this scenic course through the woods outside of Yosemite National Park! My husband will be joining me and I am thankful for the opportunity to enjoy a weekend away with him; doing something together that will improve our health and lives. 

"I'm Sorry"

While working with people who are on a weight loss journey, I have realized how common self doubt and insecurity is with those who have been overweight. That is why I want to share with you some of the steps I took to stop constantly saying "I'm Sorry" and to speak in a way that will diminish self-criticisms and doubt.
